Marginalized Communities - Burial Services

The program provide funeral assistance to Marginalized Communities (San, Ovatue and Ovatjimba) to ensure that they are accorded a respectable and dignified burial.

How to apply

A request should be submitted at the Regional Office and can be facilitated through the Constituency Offices

Registration period

Every day Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 17:00 PM

Required documents

• Certified copies of Death Certificate and Removal Order
• Certified Copy of National Document for the Decease
• A declaration from the deceased’s relative/acquaintance
• A certified copy of the National Document for the Declarant
• A confirmation letter of ethnicity by the Traditional Authority
• A confirmation Letter from the Constituency Office

Benefit/service provided

Benefit in terms of all costs to a maximum of N$ 4,500.00

Target Areas

Kavango East, Kavango West, Kunene, Ohangwena, Omaheke, Omusati, Oshana, Oshikoto, Otjozondjupa, Zambezi and Erongo.
